F9stats merge started with F9bomber’s hand-kept match stats from
January 2, 2025 through September 7, 2026
(a bit over 1,300 games). We kept only the 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5
games to maintain consistency with our current VTstats pipeline; dropped games
with stragglers to avoid ambiguity, games shorter than four minutes, and any game
we already had a recording of — which result in ~500 games left.
Note that the imported F9 matches are wins-based only, but because
VTSR-C is also currently a wins ladder — it’s considered good data.
F9 matches also include team thugs, so we still use each side’s
thug rating (VTSR-T) to weight the result: beating a stronger
group of teammates is worth more than beating a weaker one. Games from before
we had thug ratings don’t get that adjustment yet, same as our own earliest
matches. F9 games feed VTSR-C only; they do not change anyone’s thug rating.
